Lamb and Mushroom Hotpot


1 tbsp olive oil
800 gm lamb strips
2 onions, sliced
40 gm mccormick’s mix
200 gm mushroom, sliced
400 ml water
1 tbsp bbq sauce
1/4 cup spring onions

Cooking Instructions

  1. Heat oil in large inner pot and cook onion till translucent.
  2. Add lamb, brown and remove. Let rest for 10 minutes.
  3. In mixing bowl combine McCormick’s mix, mushrooms, water and BBQ sauce.
  4. Return lamb to pot and pour mix over lamb.
  5. Bring pot to boil and simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. Before serving sprinkle with spring onions.
  7. Cook for 2 hours.

HINT … Garnish with chopped spring onions on a bed of mash.
