Yogurt.
2 & 1/2 cups of water
1 & 1/2 cups of instant powdered milk
1 tablespoon of plain yogurt ( for starter )
- Use small inner pot and put 2 & 1/2 cups of water and heat to very hot ( NOT BOILING )
- Remove from heat and mix in milk powder (MIX WELL)
Mix Starter ( plain yogurt ) into powdered milk mix
Tip:
Because of small quantity, use the large pot to create the heat.- Fill pot to 1/3 capacity with water and boil while mixing the powdered milk and starter in small inner pot on top of large inner pot.
- Boil for 15 minutes
- Place both pots with lid on small inner pot into large outter thermal pot and close the lid.
- Leave for 6 Hours or until set.
- Cooking time 6 hours.
HINT … After the cooking process has been completed and you would like your yogurt to be thicker, then place yogurt into a lined colander with cheese cloth and sit in a large bowl to drain and then place into the fridge.
