Vanilla custard

Vanilla Custard.


3 eggs
2 tablespoons castor sugar
2 cups milk (low fat is fine)
1 teaspoon vanilla essence

Cooking Instructions

  1. Whisk the eggs and sugar well in the inner pot.
  2. Whisk in the milk and vanilla essence.
  3. Sprinkle with nutmeg.
  4. Fill the outer pot with water to 1/3 full and insert the inner pot.
  5. Cover with lid.
  6. Bring the water to the boil for 15 mins.
  7. Place in Eco Pot and leave for at least one hour.
  8. Cooking time 1 hour.

HINT … Sprinkle with nutmeg or cinnamon.
