2 cups of good self raising flour
1 cup milk (lemonade can be used instead for airier scones)
pinch of salt
2tsp sugar

Cooking Instructions

  1. Sift flour into clean dry bowl add salt and sugar.
  2. Make a well in the centre, slowly add milk and cut through mix with a knife until all ingredients are combined.
  3. In the mean time have large inner pot on heat with about 2/3 of boiling water in it.
  4. Roll mix out onto a board that has been dusted with flour, knead mix gently and using a cutter divide into small portions.
  5. Spray small inner pot with oil and place scones inside – nice and tight together.
  6. Place small inner pot into the large pot of boiling water and continue to boil for about 15 minutes then place into Thermal Cooker and leave for at least 1 hour.

    Makes about 8.

  7. Cooking time 1 hour.

HINT … Serve with a dollop of cream and your favourite jam.
