Rice Pudding

Rice pudding

Rice Pudding.


1 tsp butter
900ml full cream milk
50grms long grain rice (1/3 cup)
2 tsp orange rind
2 tbsp caster sugar
grated nutmeg
150ml evaporated milk

Cooking Instructions

  1. Rinse rice well to remove as much starch as possible.
  2. Fill large inner pot 1/2 full of hot water and bring to the boil.
  3. Grease small inner pot and place the rice along with all other ingredients and stir well.
  4. Place on top of large inner pot of boiling water and simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Transfer to Thermal Cooker for a minimum of 1 hour. Then stir and serve.
  6. Cooking time 1 hour.

HINT … Sprinkle with nutmeg or cinnamon.
