Rice Pudding.
1 tsp butter
900ml full cream milk
50grms long grain rice (1/3 cup)
2 tsp orange rind
2 tbsp caster sugar
grated nutmeg
150ml evaporated milk
- Rinse rice well to remove as much starch as possible.
- Fill large inner pot 1/2 full of hot water and bring to the boil.
- Grease small inner pot and place the rice along with all other ingredients and stir well.
- Place on top of large inner pot of boiling water and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Transfer to Thermal Cooker for a minimum of 1 hour. Then stir and serve.
- Cooking time 1 hour.
HINT … Sprinkle with nutmeg or cinnamon.
